Medical material intended for BTG IFAK pouch.

IFAK is an abbreviation for INDIVIDUAL FIRST AID KIT, which is the military name for an individual first aid kit for the treatment of severe trauma injuries.

The set contains the material needed to stop major external bleeding, secure the airways and treat chest injuries - pneumothorax.

The difference between the Advanced and Basic versions is that instead of ordinary gauze, the Advanced version has hemostatic gauze.

Massive Hemorrhage

OLAES Modular Bandage 4" Flat
OLAES 4 Flat Bandage is a bandage used to stop major external bleeding in combat conditions.

The OLAES bandage has a thick gauze pad that has an integrated gauze that can be removed and used to fill the wound using the "woundpacking" method and a plastic pressure applicator that directs the pressure of the elastic bandage directly onto the wound, making it significantly more effective than conventional pressure bandages.

The shape of the plastic applicator has the shape of a semi-sphere and is therefore ideal for treating gunshot wounds. It can also be removed and used as an Eye Shield when treating head injuries. The gauze pad also contains an airtight cover for improvised pneumothorax treatment.

Chitogauze XR PRO
Chitogauze XR PRO Z-Folded is a hemostatic gauze with the active substance Chitosan, which after contact with blood significantly increases its clotting ability and makes it possible to stop even massive bleeding from places where tourniquets cannot be used, such as the groin, neck, or armpit pits. The gauze is folded in a way that allows it to be quickly unrolled when filling wounds using the Woundpacking method.

Airway

NPA FR28
A nasopharyngeal airway (NPA) is a thin, clear, flexible tube that is inserted into a patient's nostril. The purpose of the NPA is to bypass upper airway obstruction at the level of the nose, nasopharynx or base of the tongue.

Chest Seal Beacon Vented Kit size
The Chest seal is intended for the treatment of open chest injuries - Pneumothorax. The adhesive hydrogel is often strong to adhere to skin that is contaminated with blood, hair, sand or water. Large 6 inch round shape for optimal coverage area. 2 pcs in kit - 1x Vented / 1x Non-Vented.

Chest Decompression Needle
Set of needle and catheter intended for treatment of tension (closed) pneumothorax in crisis situations. The decompression needle is inserted into the area of the second intercostal space. Strong and reliable needle/catheter: 14 gauge x 8,25 cm.

Medical scissors Trauma Shears with a blunt end designed for quick removal of clothing from the patient. Made of Stainless steel.

Nitrile gloves
Nitrile gloves for protection against viruses, infectious diseases, or wound contamination. Nitrile is a durable yet thin material that provides an excellent feel when handling tools. The blue color allows data to be marked on the glove during monitoring of vital functions.

Permanent marker
Marker for marking the time of placement of tourniquets, marking the number of placed tourniquets on the forehead and filling in the data in the TCCC card.

Chemlight
Chemical light activated by bending/breaking it and shaking it. Suitable for marking the injured in the dark, or signaling during evacuation.
