Streamlight TLR-8 HL-X Sub USB is a compact, multi-fuel weapon-mounted light with an integrated red laser, specifically engineered for GLOCK 43X MOS, 48 MOS, 43X Rail, and 48 Rail subcompact handguns. It provides high-output performance in a low-profile design optimized for concealed carry and duty use on slim-frame pistols.

When powered by the SL-B9 rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack (included), the light delivers 1,000 lumens and 10,000 candela with a beam distance of up to 200 meters. Output can be programmed to 500 lumens and 5,000 candela for extended runtime. Alternatively, it operates on a single CR123A battery providing 500 lumens and 5,000 candela with a 141-meter beam distance. The multi-fuel capability ensures flexibility depending on mission needs and battery availability.

The integrated red laser (640–660 nm) provides precise targeting in low-light conditions or situations where full white-light output is not required. Laser runtime is regulated and delivers up to 29 hours of operation.

The body is constructed from 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish. The switch housing is made from impact- and chemical-resistant engineered polymer. The BOROFLOAT glass lens is heat-resistant, shock-mounted, and scratch-resistant.

A specialized clamp system ensures secure and repeatable mounting on the compatible GLOCK subcompact models. Rail grip clamp securely attaches/detaches without putting your hands in front of the muzzle. Ambidextrous rear paddle switches with HIGH and LOW options allow momentary and constant activation.

Modes (LED only, LED/Laser, Laser only) are selected by pressing both switches simultaneously. The light also includes a user-activated strobe and a “Safe-Off” feature to prevent accidental activation.
