Badger Outdoor Fire Rod

A small ferrocerium flint that gives a large stream of sparks. With the help of the flint you can light, for example, a gas stove, a tourist stove or a campfire, which is a source of heat and allows you to prepare a meal away from home. It is perfect not only for camping, but also for emergency situations.

The ferrocerium flint works by vigorously abrading the flint rod with the help of the sharp edge of the sparkler. In this way, the cerium contained in the rod oxidizes and undergoes self-ignition. One movement with the spark gap allows to produce sparks with a temperature of 3000°C, which, falling on a previously prepared fire starter, will produce a flame even in severe frost or heavy rain.

Along with the flint, the set includes a spark igniter in the form of a serrated metal plate. The sparkler is equipped with a bottle opener. Thanks to its small size, the whole thing will fit in a pants pocket or backpack.
