Classic cartographic compass with transparent body allows you to read the information directly on the map. It also has a ruler for calculating the distance on a map of 1:25 000 or 1:50 000 scales and magnifying glass.

For high-speed orientation using a compass comes up with an arrow to immerse in a liquid. A viscous liquid is poured into a hermetically sealed plastic capsule in which the arrow does not turn. Due to the fact that the viscosity of the liquid is greater than the viscosity of the gas, the needle calms down very quickly - in this compass in less than 2 seconds!

The compass itself is on a bezel with marked lines, on which rotates a capsule with a dial and orienteering arrow. The base plate is rectangular, made of light transparent plastic.
