The Holosun IRIS-GR3 is a professional-grade multifunction laser aiming and IR illumination device designed for weapon use with and without night vision systems. It is a compact, triple-function unit integrating a visible green laser, infrared (IR) laser, and a high-output IR illuminator into a single low-profile and highly durable housing.

The body is manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum with a hard-anodized finish. Compared to the older LS321 series, the IRIS-GR3 is approximately 43% lighter and 20% lower in profile, significantly improving weapon ergonomics while maintaining excellent durability and recoil resistance.

The system features co-aligned visible and IR lasers, allowing precise zeroing using the visible green laser and seamless transition to IR operation without re-zeroing. The IR illuminator utilizes modern VCSEL  (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser)  technology and delivers up to 60 mW of output, providing a naturally round beam, higher efficiency, and reduced power consumption compared to traditional IR illumination solutions.

A top-mounted beam adjustment slider enables fast and intuitive tuning of the IR illuminator from a wide flood for close-range use to a narrow beam for longer-distance target identification. Controls are optimized for gloved use and high-stress environments.

The IRIS-GR3 features a centrally positioned fire button for ambidextrous operation, rear-facing mode selectors, and a low-profile remote pressure switch with Crane plug and VIS override. Power is supplied by a single CR123A battery.

The unit is rated IPX8 waterproof and vibration resistant up to 1000 G.
