Streamlight TLR-8 HL-X G USB is a compact, multi-fuel weapon-mounted light with an integrated green laser, designed for professional handgun use. It combines high lumen output, high candela intensity, and flexible power options in a low-profile housing suitable for duty or everyday carry setups.

When powered by the SL-B9 rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack (included), the light delivers 1,000 lumens and 22,000 candela with a beam distance of up to 297 meters. The output can be user-programmed to 500 lumens and 11,000 candela for extended runtime. Alternatively, it operates on a single CR123A battery, providing 500 lumens and 11,000 candela. This flexibility allows the user to adapt performance to mission requirements and battery availability.

The custom TIR optic produces a concentrated beam with effective peripheral spill for positive target identification while maintaining situational awareness. The integrated 510–530 nm green laser offers highly visible, precise aiming in both daylight and low-light conditions.

The body is constructed from 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish. The switch housing is made of impact- and chemical-resistant engineered polymer. The BOROFLOAT glass lens is heat-resistant, shock-mounted, and scratch-resistant.

The one-handed snap-on interface allows safe attachment and removal without tools and without placing hands in front of the muzzle. Ambidextrous rear switches with HIGH and LOW options, provide momentary and constant-on activation. Modes (LED only, LED/Laser, Laser only) are selected by pressing both switches simultaneously. The light also features a user-activated strobe and a “Safe-Off” function to prevent accidental activation.
