It carries over many of the benefits of the TLR-7, such as the superior power-on and battery replacement from the front of the light. Just like the TLR-7 HL, the Sub version also features Multi-Fuel power, which allows the use Streamlight SL-B9 rechargeable batteries or regular CR123 batteries (included)

The TLR-7 X Sub is a new model of the previous classic version of the TLR-7 Sub, with the option of Multi-Fuel operation.
