PGD LW Side plate NIJ level 3 is a stand alone plate, which is made to put in the side of your combat vest. The plate is designed in square cut with a single curve, so that it sits comfortably to the body.

The hard armor plate is low weight - only 0,45-0,65kg (depending on chosen size). The advantage of a 100% HPPE (High Performance Polyethylene) plate in NIJ level 3 is that it is light weight and can stop impacts that hit close to each other.

Plate is designed to stop 7.62x51 NATO, m80 and 7.62x39 msc, AK47. At the same time, plate comes in a 100% water-repellent cover, which is heat sealed to the plate against liquids such as oil, water etc.

The entire plate has a thin layer of foam, which protects the plate from impacts so that the ballistic property is always combat-ready.

• Special threat: 5.56×45, M193 1 shot
