GORE-TEX Raptor MiG is a technical hardshell tactical jacket from Tilak Military Gear suitable for tactical use in the most extreme conditions.

The Raptor MiG Tilak jacket is made of the highest quality materials available. Raptor MiG has a proven design and precise processing in the Czech Republic. This makes the Raptor MiG one of the top tactical hardshell jackets.

The MiG (Military Gear) version is based on the civilian Raptor model, which has been popular, used and verified by expedition climbers and the mountain service of the Czech Republic for many years. Members of special units of the Czech Republic collaborated on the design of the Military version of the Tilak jacket and adapted it for specific use in military and police units.

MATERIAL AND PROPERTIES

The basis of the Tilak Raptor MiG jacket is the original three-layer GORE-TEX.

GORE-TEX

GORE-TEX is an extremely thin layer of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE).
Thanks to the GORE-TEX membrane, the jacket is waterproof and breathable.

How the GORE-TEX membrane ensures water resistance and vapor permeability:

• Each square inch of membrane contains 9 billion pores
• Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water
• Each pore is 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor

WATER RESISTANCE

All seams are taped with a special 13 mm micro tape, which guarantees water resistance of the connection of materials and prolongs the overall life.

Fully waterproof zippers with WaterTight technology and laminated zipper garages also protects against horizontal rain and wind without the need to cover the zipper. The use of quality zippers guarantees long life. It is very fast and easy to fasten.

The three-layer design consists of a membrane with a unique microstructure that is firmly connected to a durable outer and inner material.

MOBILITY

Precise anatomical design does not restrict movement in any way. A very important design element is the extended bottom back area. The lower edge of the jacket sufficiently protects your crosses.

Big hood with one-touch adjusting is comfortable for use with a helmet. The jacket can be tightened with one hand and adjusted in the waist, sleeves and hood.

On the front there are two large pockets, which are located higher than the pockets on ordinary jackets, which allows them to be used with the waist belt on the backpack.

The additional two pockets are located on the shoulders and covered with a Velcro panel for personal identification.

On the sides at the bottom there is a 25 cm long zipper, which allows access to the holster for the pistol. The zipper can be precisely adjusted depending on the height of the case and the lower edge of the jacket is closed with a stud.

BREATHABILITY

The integrated ventilation system in the armpit allows additional ventilation, which can be regulated with a waterproof zipper.

The high collar and laminate shield on the hood protect the face from wind and rain. From the inside of the collar and on the nape of the neck, there is a soft material that is pleasant for contact with the skin and prevents its abrasion.
