Kydex is a type of thermoplastic developed in the USA in 1965 as part of aircraft interiors. It was not until 1987 that it was purchased by Kydex, LLC, which subsequently began using it to make holsters for a variety of items, including weapons. Today, due to its unique properties, it has a wide range of uses in interiors and exteriors.
Kydex is perfectly formable under high heat, but on the contrary, under normal conditions it is perfectly strong and keeps its shape. In normal use, the cases we produce are virtually indestructible.
