Salomon Quest 4D GTX Forces 2 EN one of our most popular tactical boots thanks to it's flexibility.  It combines the stability and grip of a mountain boot with the flexibility to allow sprints or even short runs. This versatility makes it a perfect tactical boot for official or military operations.

The tactical boot officially meets the test standards of ISO 20347:2012 and the associated standards for anti-puncture, anti-static properties and for slip resistance.
EN designation means that the soles on these boots have been tested and certified to be slip/oil resistant, puncture-resistant (outsole), and have antistatic properties.

The most important feature of a multi-functional tactical boot is, of course, the highly technological sole construction. In addition to the anti-puncture Enigma Zero HT2 insert and anti-static technology, Salomon has also opted for a tried-and-tested combination, with the Contagrip MD outsole for sure-footed grip in mountain terrain, the 4D chassis for walking stability and the EnergyCell midsole for optimum damping and performance. Finally, an OrthoLite inlay sole ensures a comfortable fit and additional damping in the boot, while perforations in the sole support a pleasant foot climate.

Certifications:

• ISO 20347:2012 - Certification of work shoes.
• ISO 20344:2011 - Puncture resistant sole: A layer of puncture-resistant material added to the outsole prevents sharp objects from penetrating the bottom of the shoe.
• ISO NORM 2419:2012 - 2.0mm thick leather: Thicker than typical shoe leather for increased durability.

FEATURES

Non-reflective materials are used for Tactical use. High Quality full-grain Nubuck leather for longer wear and durability. A single layer of Mesh, close to the foot, for maximum feel.

A special Water Repellent treatment is applied to provide extra protection, ensuring that the fabric does not absorb water during light rain and showers. Closed hooks for tactical use, reduce the risk of snags from ropes, etc. Gusseted tongue is connected to the upper on both sides, preventing debris from entering the shoe, and keeping the tongue centered.

Protective toecap from rubber, leather or synthetic material over the toe area. SensiFit cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug, and virtually customized fit all around the foot. Protective mudguard consists of a wrap of leather, synthetic or rubber around the base of the foot that protects the lateral and medial sides of the foot. Medial protective pad is a durable, cushioned pad across the medial side of the instep for protection and increased wear.

Molded OrthoLite sockliner is Molded to match the contours of your foot, this OrthoLite insole provides superior cushioning, as well as breathability and durability, to upgrade the comfort and performance of our footwear. Lace locker between the forefoot and ankle eyelets locks the laces in place, enabling independent and precise adjustment. Regular laces: Traditional lacing system with eyelets.

• Precise Fit is Developed through experience in trail running, Sensifit wraps around the entire midcourt area to ensure a snug, comfortable fit for every foot shape

GORE-TEX

GORE-TEX membrane ensures full water resistance, high breathability and keeps the foot dry from the outside, but also from the inside of the shoe.

Ensuring water resistance and breathability:

• Each square inch of the membrane contains 9 billion pores.
• Each pore is 20,000 time smaller than a drop of water
• Each pore is 700 time larger than a molecule of water vapor.

GORE-TEX in a three-layer variant with a new generation tricot lining offers a very good level of mechanical resistance at low weight.
