The new, high-profile model of Salomon XA Forces 8 GTX EN tactical shoes in the model line for 2020 pushes the bar of service shoes a bit further. The shoes are suitable for outdoor training, fast tactical missions, but also for alpine hiking and movement in more demanding terrain. They guarantee speed, ease and dexterity of movement without any restrictions.
Salomon newly brings the XA Forces 8 GTX EN model with a redesigned sole, which is resistant to punctures, does not slip on oil and protects against electrostatic discharge. It is absolutely essential to have the most comfortable and at the same time safe shoe during any mission.
The outer part of the XA Forces 8 GTX EN shoe is made of anti-reflective and abrasion-resistant Cordura textile material, as well as the Sensifit leather stabilizer, which provides comfort and precisely surrounds and protects your foot. Thanks to the reinforced fabric, it does not overtake.
The XA Forces 8 GTX EN shoes are also complemented by new elements in the form of anti-slip material on the side, which helps with securing when climbing or Fast Rope. The toe is extra durable, which ensures the Protective Rubber Toe Cap rubberizing and thus protects the foot from possible danger. The sole is an improved High Traction Contagrip and comfort is ensured by a newly made sole between the sole combining three different EVA foam tips, for maximum shock absorption while maintaining a low weight. In addition, the GTX model has a GORE-TEX membrane for maximum breathability and water resistance. It keeps the foot dry from the outside, but also from the inside of the shoe.
Ensuring water resistance and breathability:
Each square inch of the membrane contains 9 billion pores
Each pore is 20,000 time smaller than a drop of water
Each pore is 700 time larger than a molecule of water vapor
GORE-TEX in a three-layer variant with a new generation tricot lining offers a very good level of mechanical resistance at low weight.
