The Sordin Supreme Pro-X features high amplification with natural, realistic sound to provide excellent protection in noisy environments. Two separate waterproof microphones provide optimum stereo effect and location of sound direction.
Many soldiers are exposed to loud fire, explosion or harmful noise for a long time and after years suffer from partial hearing loss.
By wearing Supreme ear muffs you can communicate face-to-face as well as hearing commands and instructions without removing the hearing protector, even when others are shooting.
Shooting without hearing protection not only damages your hearing, but also increases stress, fear, and disorientation, which greatly reduces your ability to react effectively.
Sordin Supreme Pro-X protects your hearing and at the same time allows you to communicate effectively within the team. They mute loud sounds, but they don't block ordinary sounds, so you can hear the spoken word constantly.
This model is intended for use with a helmet.
ADVANTAGES OF THE SUPREME PRO-X MODEL COMPARED TO THE BASIC MODEL:
Sordin HEAR2
The Sordin Supreme Pro-X ARC Rail comes with the advanced SordinHEAR2 sound system which includes four audio profiles, each matching a typical user situation that hunters may encounter - Hunting, Focus, Shooting and Comms.
HUNTING
Hunting is the main audio profile for general purposes. The sound image is optimized for a normal hunting day, balancing clear ambient sound such as speech with comfortable low- noise audio.
SHOOTING
Shooting is a comfort profile with lower gain and a narrower audible frequency spectrum. Perfect when normal situational awareness is sufficient, e.g. in shooting training at the range.
FOCUS
Focus is your full-alert profile. It features high amplification and a wider frequency spectrum for highest situational awareness. Use this audio profile e.g. in the hunting tower to shapen your senses before your shot.
COMMS
In Comms, ambient sound is deactivated and your hearing protector uses passive protection only. However, the 3.5-mm AUX input is active allowing for clear communication even in noisy environments.

Although this headset is not primarily intended for use with a transmitter, it has an AUX output and the package includes an jack-jack (3.5 mm jack) connection cable, which can be used to connect the headset to, for example, an external microphone or PTT button or the transmitter itself.
The headphones have two separate microphones that provide stereo sound, which means you can determine where the sound is coming from. In addition, if one of the microphones is damaged, you can still use the headphones. High quality microphones deliver very clear, undistorted, noise-free sound.
When connecting to the transmitter, you should remember that integrated microphones cannot be used for broadcasting and it is therefore necessary to connect an external microphone or speak directly into the transmitter.
The possibility of amplifying the sounds will also give you a tactical advantage, which you will especially appreciate at night and during the patrol. You will hear faint sounds such as walking, opening doors, or cracking twigs louder, while extremely loud sounds such as shooting will remain muffled.
Sordin Supreme Pro-X are powered by two AAA batteries. Battery life is approximately 600 hours. The headphones have an automatic shut-off function when not in use and will alert you to low battery capacity approximately 40 hours before discharging. Battery compartment is waterproof as well as the microphones.
Sordin headphones are manufactured in Sweden and have been used for many years in several armies, including the US.
